Home > What We Do > Debt Negotiation Debt NegotitationWhat does "debt negotiation" mean? The term debt negotiation has come to mean negotiating your debt for less then what you owe. In other words, when you engage in debt negotiation, you are making a deal with your credit card company or companies to pay them less then the full balance due. In certain situations, credit card companies will be willing to settle for as little as 30-50% of the value owed. Once you are late on payments banks and collection agencies will do anything to separate you from your money. They will offer reduced interest for a time, or monthly payments. They may even offer to settle your account for less than you owe. This is not negotiation. They are merely trying to get as much as they can. They know you owe other people. They have access to your credit report and want to get on the top of the payment list. It’s not negotiation until someone says NO! We learned that a deal is made by having back and forth discussions and weighing options. This is what we do for you. Many people can negotiate their own debt and we will help these people. Before deciding to negotiate your own situation you must understand you are dealing with professionals who are highly training to separate you from your money. They are quite good at it. I have had clients say the bank offered them this or that. We typically can get the client a much better offer. You would not go to court without an attorney on a serious criminal or civil charge. You want a seasoned professional to represent and defend you. This is what we do for you as your debt negotiator. Before you decide whether debt negotiation is your best course of action, contact us today at Call us today and see how soon we can help you get out of debt!
